Welcome to Garstang & District Ramblers

The Garstang & District Rambler Group has changed to a flexi-group; as described below..

The group has a long and successful history but over time it has become difficult to maintain it's level of activitiy, particularly following the impact of Covid-19.

In due course it is hoped to re-generate the group but in the meantime the group is changing to a simpler "format" known as a "Flexigroup" which operates at a more basic level.  

All new and existing members have full access to all Rambler walks throughout the UK and in particular can access any local walks (Known as "Mid Lancashire Area") through this site, see the right hand panel, or the associated Mid Lancs site  (HERE).

Members will still receive information and resources via the Mid Lancs Area.

A certain amount of footpath activity continues and anyone interested should contact Bryan via the Contact page on this site, or for further general information on Garstang group contact Carol via the contact page. (HERE).

Should you be interested in playing an active role in the group, please do contact someone in the Contact page.

From time to time Garstang walks may be provided and will appear in the left hand panel.
